The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Viet Nam organized a tourism seminar for leading travel operators on 1 October 2025 at the Residence of the Ambassador in Hà Nội.
The seminar, organized with the support of Lan Tours, aimed to introduce the diverse tourism potential of Sri Lanka and to highlight opportunities for collaboration between Sri Lankan and Vietnamese travel companies. Tour operators were briefed on Sri Lanka’s unique attractions, including its pristine beaches, rich cultural heritage, wildlife safaris, and wellness tourism offerings.
In his remarks, the Ambassador of Sri Lanka emphasized the importance of enhancing people-to-people connectivity between Sri Lanka and Viet Nam through tourism. He noted that Sri Lanka offers a wide variety of experiences within a compact destination, making it an ideal choice for Vietnamese travelers seeking both leisure and cultural enrichment.
The event provided an interactive platform for Vietnamese tour operators to engage directly with the Embassy, exchange views on the current travel market, and explore possibilities for promoting Sri Lanka as an attractive travel destination.
The Embassy will continue to work closely with the travel and tourism industry in Viet Nam to strengthen bilateral tourism cooperation and encourage greater tourist flows between the two countries.
